Park Entry Fees in Kenya
In Kenya, protected areas are categorized into three main types: National Parks, National Reserves, and Conservancies.
- National Parks are managed by the National Government through the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS).
- National Reserves are managed by County Governments.
- Conservancies are privately or community-owned and operated.
Park entry fees vary based on two tourism seasons: High Season (July–December) and Low Season (January-June). Only Masai Mara Reserve applies seasonal pricing.
For National Parks, fees are paid online via the eCitizen portal. Conservancies and reserves may accept cash or Mpesa at their gates or require advance booking.
