This short immersive safari begins and ends in Kampala or Entebbe and includes all the required permits for primate tracking, with the gorilla permit valued at eight hundred dollars per person. The journey focuses on Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, an extraordinary rainforest known worldwide for its mountain gorillas.
Bwindi is a UNESCO World Heritage Site covering more than three hundred square kilometers of thick jungle, steep valleys and rich biodiversity. It is home to twelve habituated gorilla families, including the Mubare, Rushengura, Habinyanja and Nkuringo groups. The park also hosts hundreds of bird species, rare mammals, amphibians and an incredible variety of plants.
