Sweetwaters Serena Camp

Ol Pejeta Conservancy, Kenya

About the Property

Sweetwaters Serena Camp is a well known safari camp in Ol Pejeta Conservancy, offering a strong combination of comfort, conservation access and wildlife viewing. It is ideal for guests who want to see rhinoceros, visit the chimpanzee sanctuary and learn about one of East Africa most important conservation landscapes. The camp overlooks a waterhole, which can bring wildlife viewing close to the accommodation area, especially in the quieter hours. It suits families, conservation minded travellers, photographers and guests combining Ol Pejeta with Samburu, Mount Kenya, Lake Nakuru or Maasai Mara. The camp provides a structured and reliable base for a rich Laikipia safari.

Child Policy

Children are welcome and the camp is suitable for family safaris when supervision is maintained. Families should provide child ages at booking stage so bedding, rooming and meals can be planned. Children must be supervised around the waterhole viewing areas, paths, public spaces and vehicle loading points. Conservation visits and game drives can be excellent for children, although long drives should be paced carefully. Some activities, including night drives, lion tracking, walking activities and specialist conservation experiences, may have age rules that should be confirmed before travel.
