Day 1

Arrival and Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino sanctuary.

After an early breakfast, your driver guide will pick you up from your hotel in Kampala and transfer you to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest and most spectacular conservation area. En route, you will stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for an unforgettable rhino tracking experience, where you will observe Uganda’s only wild rhinos while learning about important conservation efforts to protect these endangered animals. After the experience, continue your journey to Murchison Falls National Park and arrive in time for lunch at your lodge. In the afternoon, visit the top of the magnificent Murchison Falls, where the River Nile forces its way through a narrow gorge with incredible power, creating a breathtaking scene of roaring water, rising mist, and shimmering rainbows. After this remarkable experience, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay in Murchison Falls National Park.

Day 2

Morning Game Drive and Boat Trip on The Nile River - Murchison Falls National Park

After breakfast, set out for an exciting morning game drive through Murchison Falls National Park, a vast wilderness home to elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, giraffes, antelopes, and many other wildlife species. As you explore the park’s open savannahs and riverine landscapes, you will have excellent opportunities to spot animals and capture memorable photographs. After the game drive, return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic boat cruise along the Victoria Nile to the base of the mighty Murchison Falls. This unforgettable journey offers close encounters with hippos, Nile crocodiles, and a wide variety of water birds, while also providing a unique perspective of the falls from below as the Nile crashes through the narrow gorge. Later, return to Pakuba Safari Lodge, your base in Murchison Falls, known for its secluded location on the eastern bank of the Nile, offering exceptional access to wildlife viewing along the park’s famous Delta Circuit. Day 3

Transfer to Kibale National Park - Bigodi Wetland Walk

After an early breakfast, your driver guide will transfer you to Kibale National Park, enjoying a scenic journey of approximately five hours through Uganda’s beautiful countryside, passing rolling hills, lush forests, rural villages, and expansive tea plantations. Upon arrival, check in at Turaco Lodge, a comfortable retreat offering spacious rooms and stunning views of the surrounding landscape. Kibale National Park is renowned for its rich primate population, including around one thousand chimpanzees, making it one of the best places in Africa for primate encounters. The park is also home to a variety of other primates such as the rare Uganda mangabey, along with an impressive birdlife of over three hundred and seventy species, including the colorful great blue turaco and the elusive green breasted pitta. Later in the afternoon, enjoy a guided Bigodi Wetland walk, where you will explore scenic grasslands, encounter diverse bird species, and pass through local communities where warm cultural interactions are often experienced. After this rewarding excursion, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay in Kibale National Park.

Chimpanzee Habituation - Kibale National Park

After an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing before setting out on a chimpanzee habituation experience in Kibale Forest National Park. Known for its remarkable primate diversity, Kibale is home to a large population of chimpanzees, offering one of the best opportunities in Africa to observe them in their natural forest habitat. Accompanied by experienced ranger guides, you will spend the morning tracking and observing chimpanzees as they go about their daily activities, with the chance to encounter other primate species along the way. Once located, you will enjoy extended time watching their behavior, interactions, and movements, although sightings are not guaranteed as they remain wild animals. After this unforgettable experience with our closest relatives, return to your lodge to freshen up and enjoy a relaxed evening at leisure. Day 5

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and Evening Game drive

Following breakfast, your guide will transfer you to Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s most diverse and scenic wildlife destinations. The journey takes you through beautiful countryside as you approach the park, which lies between Lake Edward and Lake George at the base of the majestic Rwenzori Mountain Range. Renowned for its rich biodiversity, the park is home to a wide variety of wildlife including tree climbing lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, Uganda kobs, warthogs, waterbucks, and leopards. It is also a paradise for bird lovers, with over six hundred recorded species such as African spoonbills, pied kingfishers, fish eagles, pelicans, and vultures. Lion Tracking Experience and Boat trip on Kazinga Channel.

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via Ishasha Sector

Your day begins with a freshly prepared breakfast before setting out on an early morning game drive through Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will exit the park via the Ishasha Sector, an area famously known for its rare tree climbing lions, offering a unique opportunity to observe these remarkable predators in their natural environment. This rare and exclusive activity offers the extraordinary opportunity to spend extended time with endangered mountain gorillas as they gradually become accustomed to human presence, making it one of the most remarkable wildlife experiences in Uganda. Bwindi is home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas, along with a rich diversity of other primates, mammals, butterflies, and bird species, making it one of Africa’s most biologically diverse rainforests. Accompanied by experienced ranger guides and researchers, you will spend up to a full day tracking and observing the gorillas as part of their habituation process.
