They offer vast landscapes and enforce strict gate times and marked trails to protect the flora and fauna.
Conversely, Conservancies and Reserves (like the Mara Naboisho or Ol Pejeta) are often privately managed or run in partnership with local Maasai or Samburu communities. These areas allow for highly exclusive experiences, including off-road driving, night game drives, and guided walking safaris—activities strictly prohibited in national parks.
