About the Reserve

Ziwa Rhino and Wildlife Ranch is used in the longer Uganda safari proposals as an important stop between Kampala and Murchison Falls National Park. The itineraries describe rhino tracking at the sanctuary before guests continue north to Murchison Falls National Park. It gives travelers the opportunity to see Uganda only wild rhinos on foot with guides, making it a valuable addition to big five focused packages. It is best treated as a special wildlife stop rather than an overnight national park destination.
