About the Reserve

Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary appears in the uploaded itineraries as a guided swamp and community walk connected with Kibale National Park. The packages describe a walk through grasslands, local communities, and picturesque landscapes, often after chimpanzee activities or on arrival into the Kibale area. It is an excellent supporting destination for guests who want birds, village interaction, wetland scenery, and a slower cultural nature experience between the larger national park activities.
