About the Reserve
Kidepo Valley National Park is one of Uganda’s most remote and spectacular wilderness areas, set in the far northeastern savannah near rugged mountain scenery and open plains. It is known for dramatic landscapes, strong game viewing, and a sense of isolation that suits ultra luxury fly in safaris. The ten day grand helicopter journey includes Kidepo as a major early highlight, using Apoka Lodge as a base for game viewing and a visit to the local Ik community.
