About the Reserve
The Ik Community experience adds a cultural dimension to the Kidepo Valley section of the ultra luxury safari. The Ik people live in the rugged northeastern region of Uganda and offer travellers a chance to understand local heritage, mountain livelihoods, and community identity in one of the country’s most remote areas. This experience works best as part of a sensitive guided visit connected to the wider Kidepo wilderness journey.
