Entebbe and Mabamba Swamp Shoebill Experience
Meet your private vehicle in Entebbe and transfer to Mabamba Swamp for a refined wetland introduction to Uganda. The focus of the day is a guided boat excursion through papyrus channels in search of the iconic shoebill stork, one of the most sought after birds in Africa. The quiet canoe style experience gives guests time to settle into the pace of the country while enjoying wetland scenery, birdlife, and local guiding. After the boat excursion, continue with a guided forest walk and then settle into Entebbe Forest Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay before the national park section begins.

Murchison Falls National Park by Private Air or Road Transfer
Fly or drive to Murchison Falls National Park with your private pilot and guide, depending on the final routing selected for the guest. The experience is designed to make the journey itself part of the safari, with the helicopter option giving a spectacular aerial transition from the Lake Victoria region toward northern Uganda. On arrival, begin exploring the park around the Nile and the falls, with time for private guiding, scenic viewpoints, and lodge relaxation. Day 4
Ndali Lodge and Chimpanzee Trekking in Western Uganda
Transfer to Ndali Lodge in western Uganda for the chimpanzee and crater lake section of the journey. The day focuses on a morning chimpanzee trekking experience, giving guests the opportunity to enter the forest with trained guides and search for habituated chimpanzees in their natural environment. After the trek, return to the lodge for relaxation in the highland landscape, allowing the itinerary to shift from the open savannah and Nile scenery of Murchison Falls to the quieter forest and crater lake atmosphere of western Uganda.

Day 5
Fly to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Clouds Lodge
Fly to the Bwindi region and arrive at Clouds Lodge, positioned high on Nteko Ridge overlooking the afro montane forest. This day introduces the mountain rainforest section of the safari, giving guests time to settle into one of Uganda’s most exclusive gorilla trekking bases. The afternoon can include orientation around the lodge area and a meeting with the Batwa community, offering a cultural perspective on the forest before the gorilla trekking experience. The overnight stay at Clouds Lodge allows guests to enjoy altitude, views, comfort, and proximity to the forest.

Day 6
Bwindi Gorilla Trekking and Return to Entebbe
The final day is devoted to the Bwindi forest experience and the return to Entebbe for departure. The regulated time with the gorillas is the emotional highlight of the safari and completes the journey from wetlands and waterfalls to primates and mountain rainforest.
