Day 1

Entebbe and Mabamba Swamp Shoebill Experience

Begin in Entebbe with a private vehicle transfer to Mabamba Swamp, one of Uganda’s best known shoebill birding wetlands. The boat excursion moves through papyrus channels with local guiding, giving guests a calm but exciting introduction to the country’s birdlife and wetland landscapes. After looking for the iconic shoebill stork, continue with a guided forest walk and settle into Entebbe Forest Lodge. This opening day keeps the experience relaxed while still offering a meaningful natural encounter close to the international arrival point.

Day 2

Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

Fly or drive to Murchison Falls National Park with your private pilot and guide. The transfer introduces the scale of Uganda’s landscapes and leads into one of the country’s most dramatic protected areas, where the Nile cuts through the park and gathers force at the falls. After arrival, settle into Nile Safari Lodge and begin the Murchison Falls experience with private guiding, scenic views, and time to rest before the following day’s full wildlife programme.

Day 3

Murchison Falls Bush Breakfast, Nile Delta Cruise and Wildlife Viewing

Explore Murchison Falls National Park with the flexibility of private guiding. The day includes signature experiences such as a bush breakfast at the falls, a Nile Delta boat cruise, and game viewing by vehicle. Guests may encounter elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes, lions, hippopotamus, crocodiles, and abundant birds, while also experiencing the river scenery that makes Murchison Falls one of Uganda’s strongest safari destinations. Day 4

Ndali Lodge and Chimpanzee Trekking

Transfer to Ndali Lodge in western Uganda for the primate focused section of the journey. After trekking, return to Ndali Lodge for relaxation and a slower highland atmosphere. Fly to Queen Elizabeth Region and River Station Lodge

Day 6

Queen Elizabeth Game Drives and Scenic Boat Cruise

Spend the day experiencing Queen Elizabeth National Park through game drives and a scenic boat cruise. The park offers a wide range of habitats and wildlife, including elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, lions, hippopotamus, crocodiles, and many bird species. The boat cruise gives guests a different perspective from the water, while game drives provide the classic safari rhythm of searching the plains and watching animals move through the landscape. The day is guided privately for comfort, flexibility, and photography.

Day 7

Fly to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Clouds Lodge

Fly to Bwindi and arrive at Clouds Lodge on Nteko Ridge, a dramatic high altitude base overlooking the afro montane forest. Depending on arrival timing, meet the Batwa community and learn about the cultural heritage connected to the forest. Day 8

Bwindi Gorilla Trekking and Safari Conclusion

Conclude the classic Uganda adventure with mountain gorilla trekking from the Bwindi region. After briefing and ranger assignment, enter the forest in search of a habituated gorilla family. The trek may vary in length depending on gorilla movement, but the reward is one regulated hour observing the gorillas in their natural habitat. After the experience, the final transfer or flight arrangement returns guests toward Entebbe according to the departure schedule.
